Community Health Camp

PMK is committed to improving the health and well-being of underserved communities through its Community Health Project. As part of this initiative, PMK regularly organizes community health camps to provide accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare services to rural families. These health camps are designed to ensure that people, especially women, children, and elderly citizens, receive essential medical care without financial hardship.

The recent Community Health Camp brought together experienced doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals who provided free medical consultations, basic health screenings, and medicines to community members. Patients received treatment for common illnesses, health advice, and referrals for further medical care when necessary. The initiative helped many families access healthcare services that are often difficult to obtain in remote areas.

In addition to medical treatment, the camp focused on raising awareness about preventive healthcare. Participants attended health education sessions covering topics such as personal hygiene, maternal and child health, nutrition, diabetes management, blood pressure control, safe drinking water, sanitation, and disease prevention. These awareness activities encourage healthier lifestyles and empower individuals to take better care of themselves and their families.

Special attention was given to mothers and children by providing health consultations, nutritional guidance, and advice on child development and immunization. Healthcare professionals also answered community members\' questions, helping to increase awareness about common health concerns and the importance of seeking timely medical care.

Through the Community Health Project, PMK continues to strengthen rural healthcare by combining medical services with health education and community participation. By promoting preventive care, improving access to healthcare, and supporting healthier families, PMK is contributing to sustainable community development and enhancing the overall quality of life for people across Bangladesh.
